      Larry Twyman of Brunswick, Missouri is a long time

      friend of the artist.   They traveled for years to

      Mountain Men Rendezvous in the western United

      States and Alaska.  The rendezvous were are a

      recreation of the historic 1820-1840 fur trade era

      of the Rocky Mountains when beaver pelts were

      at a premium.
