HUELO LOOKOUT

The Huelo Lookout is a fruit stand along the legendary " Road to Hana."   Markets and fruit stands are a major part of the landscape of the Hawai'ian Islands and provide income for many families.  The stands are a great place to take a break, get a drink made with hand picked fruits and enjoy the Hawai'ian people.

 
Artist Note: The legendary " Hana Road " is located on the eastern side of the island of Maui.  Hugging the ocean, the 50 mile drive to the town of Hana has 617 turns and 56 one lane bridges.  The three hour drive one way curves past waterfalls. lookouts, trails and parks in a true jungle canopy of trees, flora and plants.
